Artist in Residence Program

Puebla, Mexico

In June 2011 Steve completed a four week artist
residency at Arquetopia in Puebla, Mexico.
A non-profit foundation promoting international
experiences and collaborations that centre
on creating a positive impact in society.

ATaking part in a study of pre-Hispanic
and indigenous art techniques as well as
Spanish language classes.

Steve worked directly with an artistic assistant
and a small group of diverse international artists
in a community environment to create a series
of artworks talking about migration internationally.
